L'il
John has sought out and received his training from the best in the world.
He has attended workshops, camps, and taken courses from Montreal to
Puerto Rico. He has won first place awards in magic and balloon twisting
-- but the one award he is most proud of is the most recent award for his
work with the different children’s organizations presented by the Mayor
of Ottawa, Jim Watson. This is the first time the mayor of Ottawa has ever
given a professional clown such an award.
The
world of entertaining has been very good to L’il John, and he has
traveled to Canada’s North to entertain at the Caribou Carnival in
Yellowknife, as well as to various event performances in the southern
United States. He has been a featured lecturer at Mtl. No1 convention held
by Magie Spectram, and was such a hit that they asked him to M.C. the show
the following year.
Being
located in what has become known as 'Silicon Valley North', L’il John has
become the entertainer of choice for the local high tech community. He performs the magic shows, provides the walk-around clowns to make
animal balloons and face-paint, and even helps with details of every sort
during the planning stages.
